Top-10 finish with Summer Series at Volunteer Speedway

On Friday evening, Terry Poore kicked off his Labor Day weekend with a visit Natural Bridge Speedway (Natural Bridge, Va.) to compete with the American All-Star Series presented by PPM for the Crystal Cup.

Drawing a stout field of 47 cars for the $5,000-to-win opener, Poore timed in 27th-fastest before placing fifth in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Terry fell short of a transfer spot with a fifth-place outing.

The following night at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the Back the Gap Summer Series event, Terry secured his spot into the main event with the ninth-fastest qualifying effort. Moving forward two spots in the 30-lap affair, Poore crossed the line in seventh.
