Top-5 finish in doubleheader at Bulls Gap

Terry Poore’s Fourth of July weekend kicked off on Friday afternoon with a quick trip to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the doubleheader event with the Summer Series.

After getting caught in a tangle and retiring early in Friday’s feature, Poore rebounded in Saturday’s program by timing in fifth-fastest before placing fourth in the main event. He followed Phillip Thompson, Rusty Ballenger, and Baily Cardwell to the checkers in the 30-lapper with Josh Henry coming in fifth.
